Watchmatador and honey running around outside. matador was a bit miffed after ellie chased him and bit him :( but honey is a sweetie so they got along great :) ebh
Nail Update
Matador’s toe nail is looking better and better each day! i think it being out of the bandages and the meds are really helping. also the antibacterial cream is great. though he is getting sick of taking his meds and escaped from me the other night and hide under the bed in protest. The giving of meds is a messy process as well, as he gets a lot of it in his fur, so i have to wash his face...
Toe nail
Matador and I went to the vets the other day for our follow check up. While he is doing better, there was still some inflammation of his toe and the the quick of the nail looked split. They were concerned that the swelling didn’t go down completely so they took an x-ray of his foot, which was hard to read. (I didnt want him to be sedated and have multiple x-rays; 1 rabbits do not do well...
WatchMatador running around with a bandage on his foot! tomorrow we are going back to the vets and hopefully they will be removing it. and then only a few more day of meds! ebh
trip to the vets
had our big trip to the vet today, which went very well. matador is in perfect health except for his toe nail on his back right leg. the nail was loose and the area around it was inflamed so they had to remove it :( the little guy was a good sport about the whole thing and got a fancy new bandage in his foot to make sure it doesnt get infected. then the nurse gave me some antibiotics and...

Matador just spent a good minute licking my elbow and upper arm. it tickled like crazy ebh
Hide away
Just bought a new litter box and a wooden hide away hut for matador. I think hes completely comfortable in the house and only goes in one corner. Now we have to hope he accepts going with the litter box in the that corner :)
